Sally Oldfield (* 3. August 1947 in Dublin) ist eine irische Sängerin und Komponistin. Sie ist die ältere Schwester von Mike Oldfield. Ihre Musik, die sie überwiegend selbst schreibt, kann man zwischen Folk und New Age einordnen. Mitunter lässt sie keltische Motive einfließen und könnte in gewisser Weise als Vorläuferin von Enya oder Loreena McKennitt betrachtet werden, auch wenn sie kein so ausgeprägtes Profil entwickelt und weitaus weniger Publikumsinteresse gefunden hat.
Sally Oldfield gründete zusammen mit ihrem Bruder Mike im Jahr 1967 das Folk-Duo The Sallyangie. Die Zusammenarbeit währte wegen unterschiedlicher künstlerischer Interessen jedoch nur kurz, so dass mit „Children of the Sun“ nur ein Album des Duos veröffentlicht wurde.
Ihre Solo-Karriere begann im Jahr 1978 mit dem Album Water Bearer und der Single Mirrors. Erfolgreich waren auch die beiden nächsten LPs und die Stücke Celebration und Mandala. Einige ihrer späteren Alben wurden in Deutschland produziert, tendieren aber in musikalischer und inhaltlicher Hinsicht stark in Richtung Mainstream und Mittelmaß. In jüngerer Zeit scheint Sally Oldfield sich wieder stärker auf den anglo-amerikanischen Raum zu orientieren und ihr Image eher in Richtung "Esoterik" zu verschieben.
